Bhopal: Mr. Liyaqat Khan of Pune has been elected President of the Maharashtra unit of the Social Democratic Party of India (SDPI).
According to a press release, a nine-member State Working Committee of Maharashtra unit of the SDPI was elected in the State Representative Council meeting held in Pune on Monday.
The other office-bearers elected on the occasion include: Mr. Agha Ghazi of Nagpur – Vice President, Mr. Azhar Tambooli – General Secretary, Mr. Azeez Khan of Sholapur and Mr. Zeeshan Sheikh of Nagpur – Secretaries and Sayyid Ameen Sathara – Treasurer.
