Chennai: N. Prashanth survived a first-set loss to beat Germany’s Mark Alexander 6-7 (3), 6-2, 6-0, to enter the second round of the ITF men’s Futures tennis tournament here Monday.
Also advancing were Vijay Kannan, who beat Siriluvethai Wattana of Thailand 6-4, 6-1, and Virali Murugesan, a 6-3, 6-1, winner against Korea’s Suk-Young Jeomng.
