Patna : Hundreds of people demonstrated in various parts of Bihar Wednesday in support of activist Anna Hazare, who was jailed in the national capital to prevent him from undertaking a fast-unto-death for a strong, anti-corruption Lokpal bill.
Some people staged a sit-in and went on a hunger-strike at Kargil Chowk near the historic Gandhi Maidan.

Others marched in various places of the city, shouting slogans against the Congress-led union government and denouncing the police action against Hazare and his supporters.
“People gatherted at several places for the second consecutive day to express their support to Anna and protest action against him,” a police official said.
Hazare was arrested by Delhi Police Tuesday ahead of his fast and then subsequently released. However, he continued to be inside Tihar Jail Wednesday, refusing to come out until he was allowed to undertake his protest fast without any conditions.
