Lucknow : A State Bank of India (SBI) employee was Thursday arrested from Uttar Pradesh’s Firozabad district for allegedly killing his wife and two minor children, police said.
Ravindra Singh, a cashier with SBI, Wednesday killed his wife and two minor sons by attacking them with some sharp-edged weapons inside his house in Ramgarh area.
“While Ravindra was going to dispose of the bodies, some locals spotted him keeping the bodies inside a car. The locals approached us, following which we started interrogating Ravindra,” police inspector J.P. Tiwari told reporters in Firozabad, some 350 km from Lucknow.
“Ravindra was arrested for the killings. According to him, he took the step in a fit of rage following an argument with his wife,” he added.
