Sibal to inaugurate AMU Malappuram Centre on 24th Dec.

Aligarh: Union Minister of HRD, Communications and Information Technology, Mr. Kapil Sibal will inaugurate the Aligarh Muslim University Malappuram Centre on 24th December 2011 at Sir Syed Nagar, Chelamala, Perinthalmanna in Malappuram district of Kerala.

Mr. Oommen Chandy, Chief Minister of Kerala will preside over the inaugural ceremony and Mr. E. Ahmad, Minister of State for HRD and External Affairs will be the Guest of Honour, informed Dr. Rahat Abrar, Public Relations Officer, AMU.

Mr. P.K. Abdul Rabb, Minister for Education, Mr. A.P. Anil Kumar, Minister of Welfare and Tourism, Mr. P.K. Kunhalikutty, Minister for Industries, IT and Urban Affairs, Mr. Aryadan Muhammed, Minister for Electricity and other top officiates of the Kerala government will also address the function.

AMU Vice Chancellor, Prof. P.K. Abdul Azis will present the status report of the Centre and Prof. V.K. Abdul Jaleel, Registrar of the University will propose a vote of thanks.
