New Delhi : The wallet of a Rajya Sabha member from Maharashtra was stolen by some unidentified men when he was visiting a temple in the capital, police said Wednesday.
Piyush Goyal, a BJP MP from Maharashtra, lost his wallet at the Hanuman temple on Baba Kharag Singh Marg in Connaught Place around 1:30 p.m.
The MP’s wallet contained around Rs.2,000, four credit cards, a Constitution Club membership card and some papers, his personal secretary Niranjan Sethi complained to the police.
A case of theft has been registered.
