The United Arab Emirates will reveal to the gathering findings of the world first-ever scientific breakthrough project.

Since 1989, the Abu Dhabi government has been striving to conserve and breed the Houbara Bustard, an important element of the UAE heritage and falconry, after alarm bells were sounded that the rare and shy bird was on the verge of extinction.

As staunch defender of the environment and wildlife, the UAE has founded several avian research centres for protecting and conserving endangered birds.
