Beijing : China has rescued more than 9,300 kidnapped children since April 2009 as part of a nationwide crackdown on human trafficking, Xinhua reported.
The public security ministry said Thursday that clues provided by civilians to police have helped in the rescue of children who were being forced to beg on streets.
The ministry has urged the police to cooperate with the civil affairs, urban management and health departments in apprehending people who force children to become beggars.
