New Delhi: Infotech services firm CMS Info Systems Tuesday said that it has bagged a Rs.3 billion($66 million) project from state-owned Bharat Sanchar Nigam Ltd (BSNL) to centralise its billing system for seven years.
CMS Info Systems will deploy several industrial scale, full colour inkjet printers capable of printing upto 1,100 pages per minute at BSNL sites in the country’s northeastern, eastern and southern regions and manage the operations to add scale and efficiency to BSNL’s current printing model, the company said in a statement.
“Currently, CMS Info Systems has 20 centres across India which offer services to most of our clientele and prints a billion documents a year. With the BSNL order, we now expect to double our print output which is a huge achievement for us,” CMS Info Systems’ president (IT business) Sudev Muthya said.
