New Delhi: The Department of Arabic, Jamia Millia Islamia is organizing a 2-day National Seminar on “Syllabi of Arabic Language & Literature in Indian Universities: Review and Revision in the Light of Present Day Needs”. It will bring together experts in the field to deliberate on the subject.
The Inaugural Session of the seminar will be held at 10 AM on 22nd Feb. 2011 in the Conference Hall of FTK Centre for Information Technology, Jamia Millia Islamia.
Khidir Haroun Ahmed, Ambassador of the Sudan to India, will be the Guest of Honour on the occasion. Mr. Najeeb Jung, Vice Chancellor, Jamia Millia Islamia will preside over the session.
Prof. Ismat Mehdi, Former Head, Department of Arabic, English and Foreign Languages University, Hyderabad will deliver the Keynote Address.
