New Delhi: Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) leader Vijay Jolly Tuesday urged the government to immediately pull out the nearly 18,000 Indians from turmoil-hit Libya.
In a letter to Prime Minister Manmohan Singh, Jolly said the safety and security of Indians should be ensured in all the Arab countries that have seen or are witnessing anti-government protests.
Air India should depute special flights to Tripoli to evacuate Indians from Libya, said Jolly, from the BJP Overseas Cell.
Libya has been in turmoil for days, with security forces shooting scores of anti-government activists seeking to topple the regime of Muammar Gaddafi.
