Chennai: Prof M.H. Jawahirullah, president, Manidha neya Makkal Katchi
(MMK), will soon meet electoral ally AIDMK supremo and opposition leader in Tamil Nadu, Ms. Jayalalithaa, to discuss seat sharing for the coming Assembly elections.
MMK leadership met here on 4th January to discuss the issue and decided to form a 5-member team which will be led by party president Prof Jawahirullah. Other members of the team are: S. Hyder Ali, O.V. Rahmathullah, P. Abdul Samad and S.S.Haroon Rasheed.
The party also discussed other issues including 2G spectrum scam, sky-rocketing price, and law and order situation in the state.
