Islamabad : At least 17 people were killed in road accidents in Pakistan as most parts of the country remained covered in dense fog, a media report said Tuesday.
The accidents caused by heavy fog took place Monday in Punjab, Sindh and Balochistan provinces, the Dawn News reported.
The meteorological department forecast cold and dry weather for most parts of the country over the next few days with moderate to dense foggy conditions likely to prevail over the plains of Punjab, central and lower Khyber Pakhtunkhwa and northern Sindh.
Air traffic and train services were also affected because of poor visibility.
