New Delhi : A Nigerian has been arrested on charges of drug peddling in the capital after 52 grams of heroin worth Rs.3 million was recovered from him, police officials said Tuesday.
Navdkyugvane came to Delhi five years ago on a one-year visa and has been living on though his visa lapsed, police said. He was arrested in Gandhi Vihar in north Delhi Monday night.
“He used to circulate contrabrand drugs and was involved in drug peddling and smuggling. Investigations are on in the case to nab his other associates,” a police official said.
“He will be presented before a court in Tis Hazari Tuesday,” the official added.
