Hyderabad: IAS officer K M Raziuddin, son of K M Arifuddin, head of Madina Group of Institutes (Hyderabad) died of heart attack near Bangalore at 11.00 pm on 25th Jan. 2011. He was 40-year-old Indian Civil Service cadre from Hyderabad. He was serving as Deputy Commissioner Customs Central Excise, Bangalore.
According to local Urdu daily Etemaad, Raziuddin was returning to Bangalore after attending a conference of customs and central excise in Chennai. He suffered heart attack near Kanchipuram. He was rushed to the hospital but breathed his last on the way.
His body has been brought to Hyderabad. The funeral prayer is being offered today (27th Jan) after Noon Prayer (Zohar) at Shahi Masjid, Bagh-e-Aamma. He will be buried in the graveyard near Masjid Chiyonti Shah in Usmanpura area.
He is survived by wife, a son and a daughter.
Eminent personalities from the city have visited his home to offer their condolences. They include Hyderabad MP Asaduddin Owaisi, Justice Saadatullah Hussaini, Asif Pasha, former minister, Andhra Pradesh and Burhanuddin Owaisi, Editor-in-Chief, Etemaad daily.
