Aurangabad (Maharashtra): Congress MP Rahul Gandhi Saturday condemned terrorism in all forms and said no religion preaches “killing of innocent people”.
Addressing a media conference here on the final day of his three-day trip to Maharashtra, Gandhi said that religion and terrorism had no connection.
“I have not come across any religion which preaches violence or killing of innocent people. Terrorists kill innocents and I strongly condemn it,” declared Gandhi, who lost his father Rajiv Gandhi to a terror attack in Sriperumbudur in Tamil Nadu in 1991.
The Congress general secretary stressed that terrorism is a crime and no terrorist crimes can be condoned as they kill innocents.
