Islamabad : President Asif Ali Zardari did not speak to mediapersons in London after meeting British Prime Minister David Cameron as “some journalists brawled among themselves and could not get organised to ask questions in turns”, said an official.
Presidential spokesperson Farhatullah Babar said that Zardari had wanted to speak to the media July 1 but he could not interact with them due to the chaotic situation created by some journalists, Associated Press of Pakistan reported.
“As the president came out after meeting with Prime Minister Cameron, his attention was drawn towards the media standing at the spot allocated for the press by 10 Downing Street.
“The president reached there but unfortunately some journalists brawled among themselves and could not get organised to ask questions in turns. This led to a chaotic situation and the president had to leave the place without the interaction,” Babar said.
