“How can Tiwari flout the court’s order even after he was directed to give his blood sample?” Justice Gita Mittal asked Tiwari’s counsel.

The court also asked for Tiwari’s detailed health report to ascertain whether he has any complications in giving blood samples for the DNA test.

Taking note of the petition filed by Rohit Shekhar, who claims to be the biological son of the 86-year-old politician, Justice Mittal adjourned the matter for Monday.

Tiwari’s five-decade political career came under a cloud last year after a news channel showed explicit clippings of an elderly man purported to be the 86-year-old Tiwari with three young women in bed last year.

A few days later, Tiwari resigned as the Andhra Pradesh governor on health grounds.
