Patna: Eminent Muslim organizations have jointly sought appointment from Chief Minister of Bihar Nitish Kumar so that they could apprise him of the feelings of the Muslim community about the police killings in Forbesganj last month. The groups will also present the CM a memorandum of their demands over the incident.

Last week about a dozen of Muslim organizations including the top and eminent ones had sat here in Patna and formed an ad-hoc committee to take the case of June 3 Forbesganj police firing ahead and ensure justice to the victims. The groups had taken several decisions in this regard, meeting with CM was one of them.

Eminent social activist and journalist Nayyar Fatmi, convenor of the ad-hoc committee, informed TwoCircles.net that he on behalf of the Muslim organizations has submitted a written application with the secretariat of the CM on Friday (8th July) seeking early appointment from Kumar.

Besides the meeting with CM, the groups will also make a joint visit to the Bhajanpur village on 15th July where four persons including an infant and a woman were killed by the police on June 3. To hold a massive demonstration in Patna over the issue is also part of their joint action plan.
