New Delhi: Salman Khursheed, who is to replace M. Veerappa Moily as the new law minister, Tuesday said he felt honoured and had got a “very tough job”.
“It is a very tough job but I feel honoured,” said the former cabinet minister for water resources and minority affairs.
“We are determined. We have three years in which we have to show outstanding performance so that we can lay the base for the bright future for the Congress,” Khursheed told reporters.
Khursheed started his political career as an officer on special duty in Indira Gandhi’s office when she was the prime minister.
