Largest number of injury has been reported from Kahu Gali, a street of eateries in Zaveri Bazaar where actually the blast occurred.
The blast in Dadar West occurred in a car whereas according to city cops Zaveri Bazaar blast might have been triggered in a meter box. The Opera House blast took place at Prasad Chamber.
The terror angle was confirmed by the Home Ministry. Both the ministry and Mumbai police have indicated the possible involvement of Indian Mujahideen (IM) behind the blasts. Home Ministry has also confirmed about Improvised Explosive Devices (IEDs) being used in the blasts. The entire city has been sealed and put on high alert.
Teams of National Investigation Agency (NIA), National Security Guards (NSG) and several forensic experts have been airlifted to the spots.
Importantly two alleged IM men were arrested by Mumbai police yesterday but the CM Chavan and Mumbai police have consistently refused to say whether they had prior intelligence about the blasts.
