New Delhi: Mr. Nusrat Ali, Secretary General of Jamaat-e-Islami Hind, strongly condemning the serial blasts in Mumbai, has expressed grief at the incident and demanded the government to conduct a high-level inquiry into the blasts to bring the culprits to justice.
The Secretary General, drew the attention of the government on the poor performances of the agencies when it comes to investigating such incidents, and called on it to check why security forces have failed in their responsibility to protect public lives and property?
He called upon the government to review that a section of the media and some persons have started the blame game by making speculations even before the government’s official statement on the cause and motive of the incident. He said that all irresponsible speculations should be avoided to stop creation of the communal atmosphere.
He expressed his deepest condolences to the families of those killed and injured in the blasts.
