Norway attacker was careful while browsing on bomb making

By IANS,

Oslo : Norway twin attack suspect Anders Behring Breivik had researched well on the internet on bomb making and also exercised caution while doing so. In a 1,500-page manifesto he has given tips on how to evade attention while researching on bomb-making as “many terms will trigger electronic alerts”.

“Be extra careful when researching for bomb schematics (fertilizer bombs), as many terms will trigger electronic alerts”, warns the 32-year-old who has confessed to killing at least 85 people on Utoya Island Friday evening and is linked to the Oslo bombing that killed seven dead.

In the manifesto, titled “2083: A European Declaration of Independence”, Breivik writes that to avoid suspicion during bomb making one should purchase a farm so that buying large amounts of fertilizer is less likely to be noticed. Fertilizer can also be used to prepare bombs.

Oddmy Estenstad, an employee at a Norwegian agricultural cooperative, told CNN that the Norway terror suspect purchased six tonnes of fertilizer from her company in May.

Breivik gives other tips too on how to avoid suspicion on the internet.

Use an “anonymous laptop and browse free to your local McDonalds” in order to “avoid ending up on any watch list”, the killer’s manifesto said.
