Jammu : Prime Minister Manmohan Singh will arrive in this Jammu and Kashmir winter capital Friday on a day-long visit, officials said Wednesday.
In a last-minute change in the programme, officials said that Manmohan Singh will be arriving Friday morning instead of Thursday evening.
The prime minister will address the convocation of the Sher-e-Kashmir University of Agricultural Sciences and inaugurate a township built for Kashmiri migrants during his visit.
No reasons were given for the change in the schedule. Meanwhile, security has been tightened all over the city and its suburbs for the visit.
