Tokyo : Japan’s meteorological agency late Sunday lifted the tsunami warning for the nation’s entire Pacific coast as experts warned of more strong aftershocks posing grave dangers to damaged nuclear reactors in the afflicted areas.
However, seismologists warned of aftershocks of a magnitude of up to 7 in the coming days. Experts fear that another strong quake could further damage the reactors at the Fukushima I and II plants, where technicians have been struggling to contain a possible core meltdown.
