Man held for opening fire in Delhi mall

    New Delhi: A man, who opened fire when he was not allowed to carry his gun into a mall in east Delhi last week, has been arrested, police said Saturday.

    Neeraj Kumar, 32, and his associates had fired upon the guard March 10 when they were not allowed to enter the mall near Ghazipur with their firearms.

    “One of the assailants was arrested from the spot by beat constables and Kumar was caught Friday from Taharpur village in east Delhi,” a police official said.

    A .315 bore gun and six live ammunitions were recovered from his possession.
