Kolkata: In a bid to shed its anti-industry image, the Trinamool Congress Monday promised that industry and agriculture will go hand in hand if it won the West Bengal assembly elections.
“Our agenda is very simple. We need both industry and agriculture. Agriculture and industry will go hand in hand with a human face,” party chief Mamata Banerjee told the media.
The Trinamool manifesto which Banerjee released outlined two “action plans” — one for 200 days and another for 1,000 days after taking office.
