Jeddah: The 57-member Organization of Islamic Conference (OIC) Wednesday urged the parties involved in the Libyan crisis to take steps to avoid civilian casualties.
OIC Secretary-General Ekmeleddin Ihsanoglu called for maximum self-restraint in a statement.
He renewed calls on the international community to adhere to maintaining the Libyan territorial integrity.
