While India’s top women’s tennis player Sania will be rooting for her country, her cricketer husband and former Pakistan captain will obviously support his country.

“I support India and Shoaib will support Pakistan as usual! The war is on,” Sania, who is playing in Miami, posted on the social networking site Twitter.

The 24-year-old wished to be in Mohali for the mouth-watering clash Wednesday.

“The last time they played in Mohali I watched the match live. What a semi-final on the line. Wish I could be there,” she tweeted.

India made the semifinals Thursday with a five-wicket victory over defending champions Australia in a high-voltage clash in Ahmedabad. Pakistan, on the other hand, breezed into the last four stage with a convincing 10-wicket victory over West Indies.

Sania and Shoaib married in Hyderabad in April last year amidst a lot of hype.
