Dubai : The Dubai Police and a British law enforcement agency have signed an agreement to collaborate on policing best practices in the two countries.
Lt. Gen. Dhahi Khalfan Tamim, Dubai Police commander-in-chief, and John Bainbridge, chief superintendent at Her Majesty’s Inspectorate of Constabulary (HMIC) signed the memorandum of understanding.
Established more than 150 years ago, HMIC is responsible for inspection of 43 police forces and 251 police centres in England and Wales.
It is an independent organisation that examines the effectiveness of police forces to tackle crime and terrorism and improve justice delivery.
