India trip for better ties: Gilani

Islamabad : Pakistan Prime Minister Yousuf Raza Gilani Wednesday said he was going to India to create a better environment so as to improve bilateral relations.

Gilani told reporters before leaving for Chandigarh that all political parties and regions of Pakistan were represented in the delegation that he was heading.

From Chandigarh, Gilani will take a helicopter to Mohali, where he and his Indian counterpart Manmohan Singh will watch the World Cup cricket semifinal and discuss India-Pakistan ties.
