The issue that resulted in a walkout of all legislators from the house Tuesday rocked the assembly Wednesday morning too when the members wanted to know what action the government was taking against Health and Medical Education Principal Secretary R.K. Jerath.

Jerath has been accused of “insulting” BJP legislator Lal Chand in his office chamber Monday.

A privilege committee of the house found substance in the charge of the legislators and recommended that the officer be shifted from his post and attached with the General Administration Department.

The committee report was unanimously adopted by all members of the house.
