Islamabad : At least 20 people have been arrested from the areas close to Osama bin Laden’s Abbottabad mansion where the Al Qaeda leader was killed by US commandos.
Dawn reported that 20 people were arrested Friday by law-enforcement agencies.
Police had initially been deployed at the compound where US Navy SEAL commandos took out Osama May 2. The police have now been withdrawn and army soldiers are on duty there.
Military and intelligence officers have carried out a thorough inspection of the compound.
Sources said experts examined all the household items and wreckage of a helicopter that was blown by the commandos after it developed a snag.
