New Delhi : In a setback to Karnataka Chief Minister B.S. Yeddyurappa, the Supreme Court Friday restored the membership of 16 legislators who were disqualified before a no-confidence vote against the Bharatiya Janata Party (BJP) government in 2010.
Of the 16 legislators, 11 are from the BJP and five are independents.
The legislators were disqualified by the speaker of the state assembly before the trial of strength Oct 11.
