New Delhi: In a bid to entice Indian travellers, Malaysia Airlines Saturday launched a promotion scheme offering 80 percent less airfare on bookings between May 16 and May 31 for travel from June 1 this year till March 31, 2012.
“We are offering discounts up to 80 percent off the normal market fares during this promotion, covering all travel segments, for business and economy seats,” said Dato’ Bernard Francis, the airlines’ executive vice president, sales and marketing.
According to Francais, the discounts would be valid for 14 cities, including all the major destinations within southeast Asian region, as also to Australia, New Zealand and China.
“Even business travellers who have a planned convention or seminar can purchase these deals and enjoy Malaysian hospitality during their journeys on Malaysia Airlines.”
The airline further said that the facility enables passengers to simplify their travel plans through on-line check-in, thereby bypassing queues at the airports.
