“The Jan Swabhiman Yatra would resume simultaneously from Bundelkhand’s Hamirpur district and Bahraich district under the leadership of (party vice president) Kalraj Mishra and (former president) Rajnath Singh, respectively,” BJP state president Surya Pratap Shahi said at a press conference.

“Under the leadership of Mishra and Rajnath Singh, the yatra would traverse through 188 state assembly constituencies in 31 districts, where our party activists will directly approach the masses to unmask the corrupt activities of the Mayawati government, particularly the misuse of public funds on setting up memorials and parks,” he added.

According to Shahi, the yatra will conclude in Ayodhya Nov 17 in a ‘Vijay Sankalp Samagam’ that would also be attended by BJP president Nitin Gadkari.
