Varanasi: In a move to promote peace and communal harmony and to strengthen the secular and democratic values, Varanasi based organization, Centre for Harmony and Peace in collaboration with All India Secular Forum, is going to organize a two- day convention.
The convention will be held on 20th and 21th November 2011 at Navsadhna, Shivpur,Tarna in Varanasi, Utter Pradesh. It will discuss the process of the building, syncritic traditions and the communal situation in U.P. and the plan for strategies to strengthen the secular, democratic values in the state.
It will be addressed by the leading activists working for promotion of democratic values and will discuss the political, educational and cultural steps needed to combat communalism.
