Nusa Dua (Bali) : Indian Prime Minister Manmohan Singh and US President Barack Obama exchanged views on Iran in the context of the recent IAEA report on Tehran’s nuclear development.

The prime minister reiterated that matters needed to be dealt with diplomatically, Secretary (East) Sanjay Singh told reporters after the one hour meeting between the two leaders on the sidelines of the East Asia Summit here.

According to government sources, it was disturbing if there were military elements to any nuclear programme. Over the last few days, there have been several drafts of a resolution in the International Atomic Energy Agency.

“We are told some resolution which everyone can sign is possible,” a source said. “Nobody wants another nuclear weapons state.”
