New Delhi: The wait of our Readers is over now. TCN Annual Awards 2011 are being declared. Young Gandhian activist Faisal Khan will receive TCN Person of the Year 2011 Award while Taqwaa Advisory and Shariah Investment Solutions Pvt. TCN Annual Awards event of 2010 held in Delhi on 4th Dec. 2010
Faisal Khan is a grass root activist associated with the National Alliance for People’s Movement (NAPM). He has been working for communal harmony and social cause for last one decade. The award is in recognition of his initiative to revive “Khudai Khidmatgar” (Servants for God’s Creation).
The award to TASIS is in recognition of its stature as a credible and highly competent Shariah advisory institution. TASIS was the main force behind the launch of Shariah-compliant index in Bombay Stock Exchange (BSE).
Faisal Khan and main architect of TASIS, Dr Shariq Nisar will receive the award at TCN’s Annual Event going to be held in Mumbai on 17th December 2011.
Like the inaugural year of the TCN annual awards in 2010, this year also we invited our Readers across the globe to nominate one person and one organization for their outstanding contribution to the community and society this year. The TCN Team sat this past Saturday and after a thorough discussion over the nominations, took final decision for the awards.
