Lakshman to lead Indian challenge at Asia-Pacific Senior golf

New Delhi : The Indian team for the Asia Pacific Senior Amateur Golf Championships will be spearheaded by the 1982 Asian Games gold medalist ‘Bunny’ Lakshman Singh of the Royal Calcutta Golf Club. The championship is being held at the Royal Perth Golf Club in Western Australia from Nov 30 to Dec 2.

Lakshman, one of the finest amateurs in his heydays, will have Gangesh Khaitan (Noida) and Vijay Kumar of Noida as Team A from India. Team B from India will comprise IPS Mann (Chandigarh), Nalin Kant (Army) and Ashish Dube of Noida golf club.

Two best scores will be counted each day from the team of three players.
