Lucknow: Peace Party, the outfit which is already giving sleepless nights to major political parties in Uttar Pradesh, received another shot in its arm, with the joining of Dileep Singh Bafila, a prominent public face of Uttarakhand, on Sunday.
Bafila, a prominent leader of Uttrakhand, heads the Parvatiya Samaj in Uttar Pradesh. Admitting him in party fold, Peace Party president, Dr Mohd Ayub stated that with the entry of Bafila, the party has now presence in Uttrakhand also. Dr Ayub also appointed him national vice president of Peace Party besides declaring him the face in Uttrakhand assembly elections. “If we gain power, he will be our CM candidate in Uttrakhand,” he said.

Bafila is also the convenor of Engineering College Association and several other social organisations.
In his address, Bafila assured that 40 lakhs voters from mountaineous area presently living in UP will support Peace Party. “We will surely change the result of the elections. Now it is sure that no government can be formed in UP without the support of Peace Party,” said Bafila.
Dr Ayub also admitted another leader VK Singh in Peace Party. Singh has been associated with Congress and Samajwadi Party in the past and has held several important posts. Singh has been appointed national secretary of the party.
