Warsaw : Poles voted Sunday in a poll to elect 460 membes to the Sejm, the lower house of parliament, and 100 senators to the upper house.
Over 30 million Poles were eligible to vote.
Prime Minister Donald Tusk’s Civic Platform led the final opinion polls but its main rival, former premier Jaroslaw Kaczynski’s conservative-nationalist Law and Justice party narrowed the gap at the end of the election campaign.
