By TCN Staff Reporter,

Hyderabad: Amjedullah Khan, a corporator of Majlis Bachao Tehreek (MBT) has alleged that he has been getting threatening calls for some time. While talking to TwoCircles.net he alleged, “I have been receiving threatening calls since 30th April 2011, the day of the murderous attack on Majlis-e-Ittehadul Muslemeen (MIM) MLA Akbaruddin Owaisi.”

Khan alleged that the police are not taking his complaints seriously.
“I have given a number of complaints to the Inspector of Police, Dabeerpura and written a number of letters to the Governor, Chief Minister, Director General & Inspector General of Police, Andhra Pradesh, Commissioner of Police Hyderabad,” he said.

He further informed that not only him but his relatives and those associated with his party MBT are also continuously getting abusive and threatening calls for working against the rival party MIM.

He said: “Inspector of Police Dabeerpura had caught some anti-social elements for doing abusing calls but the Hyderabad Police is unable to catch the main brain behind of this campaign.”

“The Commissioner of Police Mr A K khan (IPS) being soft in cases against the MIM Party is the main hindrance in catching the real culprit”, Khan alleged.
