Kolkata : South Africa’s Evan Speechly was Saturday appointed physiotherapist of the Indian cricket team for two years.
A BCCI statement, released after its working committee meeting here, said Speechly will join the team for the third Test between India and West Indies to be played at Mumbai Nov 22-26.
Speechly was earlier associated with the Royal Challengers Bangalore as physiotherapist.
He comes to the Indian team with over a decade’s experience in handling the South African national football and rugby teams, along with Transvaal’s cricket team.
