Chandigarh: Haryana’s chief parliamentary secretary (CPS) Ram Kishan Fauji was admitted to the Post-Graduate Institute of Medical Education and Research (PGIMER) here after he was found unconscious at his official residence in Panchkula Saturday.
Doctors at the PGIMER said that Fauji was in a critical condition and was admitted to the intensive care unit (ICU) of the hospital.
Fauji’s family and police are tight-lipped about the reason behind his sudden collapse. He was found lying unconscious inside the bathroom of his official residence in Panchkula’s Sector 12-A by his staff. They had to break into the bathroom through a window to help him.
Sources at the PGIMER said that poisoning could be the reason for this.
Haryana Chief Minister Bhupinder Singh Hooda went to PGIMER to enquire about the health of Fauji.
A legislator from the Bhiwani Khera (reserved) assembly seat, Fauji is attached with Chief Minister Hooda as CPS.
