New Delhi : A major fire broke out at a second floor office in Vikas Bhawan Friday afternoon but no one was injured in the incident, said fire officials.
The fire was reported around 1 p.m. from Vikas Bhawan, situated in New Delhi’s Indraprastha Estate area.
The fire engulfed the second floor office of the government of the National Capital Territory (NCT) of Delhi.
“Around 18 fire tenders were rushed to the spot. They took one hour to douse the fire,” said a fire service officer.
According to the officer, the reason behind the incident is yet to be ascertained.
