Iftar meet for Muslim professionals of Hyderabad

Hyderabad: Professionals Solidarity Forum (PSF), Hyderabad organized Professionals’ Iftar meet at Azaan International School, Tolichowki, Hyderabad on 4th August 2012 under the theme “Garments of Love and Mercy: Marriage in Islam: Talk and Iftar”.

Mr. Muneeb Ahmed Khan, Civil Engineer addressed the gathering of over 100 young professionals of various fields like IT, Medicine, Teaching and Law. He explained the young professionals about the importance of institution of marriage in Islam, tips for choosing a partner and rights and obligations of spouses.

Explaining the aims and objectives of the Professionals Solidarity Forum, Farhan Sumbul, Convener of forum said that PSF aims at educating the professionals on moral grounds as well as utilising their talent and potentials in changing the underprivileged human lives. He stressed upon the importance of professionals being engaged in human welfare activities and briefed the audience about the recent activities taken up by forum which included visit of some rain hit areas of Hyderabad on 21st July 2012 and medical camp organized by PSF for Rohingya Muslim refugees at Hyderabad on 3rd August 2012.

Introducing the future plans of the forum Sumbul appealed the professionals to take out their times in taking up the forum’s activities. Established in 2009, PSF is an organization of Muslim professionals with branches in few cities.
