UP street lights to have auto-timer meters

Lucknow : Street lights in urban areas of Uttar Pradesh will be equipped with auto-timer electric meters, an official said Wednesday.

The plan is part of a central government scheme. The process would be completed across the state by year-end.

With this, it will be easier to comply with the timing of switching on and switching off the street lights.
