24 students of AMU qualify all India Geologist Examination

Aligarh: Some 24 students of Department of Geology, Aligarh Muslim University have qualified the All India Geologist Examination (written) conducted by the Union Public Service Commission, New Delhi.

Dr. Liaqat A.K. Rao, Chairman, Department of Geology said that Ms. Sabeeha Saifi, Mr. Mohd. Asif, Mr. Junaid Ahmad, Mr. Md. Aleem, Ms. Richa Gautam, Ms. Shilpi Gupta, Mr. Shahid Iqbal, Mr. Ayoub Iqbal Khan, Mr. Gagnesh Upadhyay, Mr. Ejaz Ahmad, Mr. Imran Khan, Mr. Shovi Khan, Mr. Naufal Khan, Mr. Altamash, Ms. Rakiya Iqbal, Mr. Burhanuddin, Mr. Zameer Ahmad Shah, Mr. Bhupendra Kumar Sharma, Mr. Ranjeet Kumar Das, Mr. Pavnesh Kumar Singh, Mr. Santosh Kunal, Mr. Abdurrehman, Mr. Tahir Mushtaq and Mr. Aftabuddin Shahidullah have been declared successful in the examination.

Prof. Rao said that the success of these students is a testimony to their hard work, dedication and guidance under the dynamic leadership and guidance of the faculty members of the department. He assured that the department will provide every facility and help to the students to excel in their career.
