Kashmir cloudburst hits BSF camp, five rescued

Srinagar : Five troopers of paramilitary Border Security Force (BSF) were rescued after a cloudburst hit their camp in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district Wednesday afternoon, police sources said. One trooper is missing.

Sources told IANS that a portion of the BSF camp was washed away in the border Gurez town.

A rescue operation was immediately launched and the five troopers were rescued. Searches were being carried out to trace the missing trooper, they said.
